Our Story
Building Mochelo brand is a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to build my own brand that reflects creativity, purpose and value for money.
The inspiration came from my daughter’s love for the beach. Watching her enjoy the sun, sand and sea triggered the idea of creating apparel that would allow children and families to move comfortably and confidently, not only in the water but beyond.
The name Mochelo was inspired by “Mochuelo,”, Spanish word for “little owl”. Like the owl, Mochelo represents intelligence, adaptability and the freedom to explore. Guided by our tagline, “Comfort Beyond Waters “, our collections are designed to bridge the worlds of land, air and sea. Mochelo apparel transitions effortlessly from beach adventures to casual walks.
After more than 30 years in retail merchandising, brand management and product development, I recognized an opportunity with growth potential. Believing in the vision for Mochelo, I made the life-changing decision to leave my corporate career and dedicate myself to the brand full time..
